Hip Hop project with T6 Bawn. (St. Luke and Tetnis from Auburn NY). This started as a dream I had about anvils and machinery sounds. I grabbed a few free samples and shifted the pitch to make some interesting lines.

Never run towards the big drums. Always run away. This is for an ipad game being worked on with the unreal engine by some co-workers. They wanted something “heavy with war drums”. My idea was a creature that was chasing a helpless victim through the woods, only it wasn’t really chasing…more like guiding him to a sacrificial pit.

This one started with a recurring dream. Anvils building steel. Grabbed some free anvil/steel sound samples and found out I could change the pitch of the samples and use them as an instrument.
This is a work in progress. Real guitars and bass on this one.
Something that was in my head, start with some funk drums with nice nuanced 16th notes, add some beats and fake guitar and..
Another thing all by hand.
Just got the new Maschine Mikro. I love it! Now I have to learn it. This is an idea that started in my head one morning. I ran down to the “beat lab” and just “sang” it into a microphone.
This turned out too “pop” for me. Oh well.
